About

Born and raised in San Diego, CA, I have always been interested in exploring my city and uncovering hidden culinary treasures. I love trying new places, even though it’s a bit difficult on a college student’s budget, but I make it work! After all the stress of studying at UCSD every day, it’s nice to take break with good food and good company once in awhile. I’m lucky to have friends that share the same interests in.. well, EATING. Living in San Diego for 23 years now, there are still so many places I have yet to try, but I’m extremely excited to visit them all & would love to share my experiences with anyone who would like to listen.

Other than my interest in foodie adventures, I have been fully absorbed in school for the past 4 1/2 years. College is definitely not easy! Studying biochemistry & cell biology may sound interesting, but it’s also a lot of work. My mind has been all about science for years now, so excuse the discrepancies in my writing :] My future with this major is completely up in the air, but I feel the options are endless. I have a sparking interest in the field of optometry, but also in dentistry, pharmacy, working at a biotechnology company or lab, etc. The closer I get to graduating (which is in ONE month!), the cloudier my future gets. It’s not a bad thing to be undecided as to what I want to do when I finish college, but it would be nice to have some sort of an idea. I guess it’ll all be a surprise!

College has been the main focus of my life for quite awhile now and always a huge topic of conversation everywhere I go. I love observing the people around me, the people I interact with, and the atmosphere on campus. I love laughing, I love having a good time with my friends.. even if we’re just hanging out at someone’s apartment, watching TV. Life would be so mundane without laughter, so I try to relieve the stress of school by relaxing with friends and family, creating fun, odd-ball moments that result in crying and cramping because of laughing so much. I hope as this blog continues to grow, you will be able to get a peek into what my life is like.

The world is such a big place, I don’t even want to think about tackling it, so I’ll start a little bit smaller with San Diego. My goal is to find interesting places, interesting people, and interesting experiences to share with you all. Stay tuned!
